JMI-A1 125/150 Metal Seated Flanged Globe Valves

American Standard flanged Globe valve is in line with the American National Standard ANSI BI16.34 equipment requirements. The outer shape of the valve is a barrel or streamlined shape, elegant shape, and the shape of the flow path is straight, and the fluid resistance is small. Closure part (valve disc) and seat seal using cone seal, with small closing force, resistance to erosion, and reliable sealing.

JMI-A1 125/150 Metal Seated Flanged Globe Valves FAQs

Q 1. What is Globe Valve?

A globe valve is a valve used to stop, start or regulate the fluid flow.

It is a forced sealing valve. When the valve is closed, pressure must be applied to the disc to force the sealing surface to not leak.

Q 2. is the Globe Valve Unidirectional?

Yes, the globe valve is unidirectional instead of bidirectional.

There is an arrow marking on the body of the globe valve. If you install globe valve in opposite direction, there will be some problems, like leaking, early maintenance, reduced life etc.
