Alloy Flange

Alloy steel flanges are also a type of flange material. Mainly used for special features of piping and pipelines, mostly used for high temperature and high-pressure positions. Its common materials including12Cr1MoV, 15CrMo, P91, P22,10CrMo910 and so on. Application areas: ship application, petrochemical, boiler pipeline, aerospace, power, and energy, etc.

1. Standard (Similarity):

Both alloy & metal are flange's materials. Alloy flanges & metal flanges have ANSI/ASME, DIN, BS, JIS, UNI & EN 1092-1 standard

2. Design Pressure (Similarity)

Alloy flanges is one kind of metal flange, metal flanges are not only alloy flanges.

Both metal &alloy flange pressure can be PN6/PN10/PN16/PN25/PN40,150LBS/300LBS/400LBS/600LBS/900LBS

3. Type & Facing (Similarity):

Type: Slip-on, Weld Neck, Blind, Lap Joint, Socket Weld, Threaded, Plate, Loose, SOP, SOH(A B C )

Facing: RF, FF, RTJ

4. Installation (Similarity and Difference):

Alloy is made of two or more metals mixed, alloy flange hardness, good heat resistance, corrosion resistance, performance is better than another metal flange.

The basic characteristics of the flanges are still the same.

It is best to describe as specific as you can. Details about flanges are including type(SO, WN, TH, BL, SW, LP, etc.), material, pressure, facing( RF, FF, RTJ, etc.), standard, and quantity, for example, 2” ASTM A105 SO flange, Class 150, RF, ANSI B16.5
