Both BS flange and ASME flange material can be carbon steel, stainless steel and other alloy steel.

2. Design pressure (difference):

About BS flange, the pressure is PN2.5, PN6, PN10, PN16, PN25, PN40. Regarding the ASME flange, the pressure is 150LBS, 300LBS, 400LBS, 600LBS, 900LBS

3. Type (similarity):

Slip on, Weld Neck, Plate, Blind, Socket Weld, Thread, Lap Joint.

4. Installation (similarity and difference):

Same connection, due to OD of British standard is different from that of the American standard, and the BS flange connection size is different. Before connection, check the applicable standard of the pipe and select the appropriate flange for connection.
