Gate Valve NPT/BSPT Threaded

The opening and closing part of the stainless steel threaded gate valve is a plug-shaped valve disc, the sealing surface is flat or conical, and the valve disc moves linearly along the centerline of the fluid. Simple structure, manufacture and maintenance more convenient, and small working stroke, short opening and closing time. Good sealing performance, small friction between the sealing surfaces, and long life. The types of stainless steel threaded gate valves are divided into external thread type and internal thread type according to the position of the valve stem thread. According to the flow direction of the medium, there are straight-through type, direct-flow type and angle type

Gate Valve NPT/BSPT Threaded VS Flanged

1. Material:

Both material of gate valve NPT/BSPT threaded and flanged end valve can be CF8, CF8M, CF3M.

2. Pressure:

Both pressure of 3 gate valve NPT/BSPT threaded and flanged end can be 200WOG, 800WOG, 1000WOG, 1500WOG, 2000WOG

3. Range of Applications (Similarity):

Stardard: ANSI, BS, DIN

Sealing Material: PTFE, R-PTFE

Connection type: Thread end (difference)

4. Installation (Difference):

NPT/BSPT Threaded gate valve is connected with the thread end in the pipeline, and the flange end gate valve is connected with the pipe flange end.

Gate Valve NPT/BSPT Threaded FAQs

Q What Are The Main Functions Of Gate Valve?
A.

A gate valve is generally used to completely shut off fluid flow or, in the fully open position, provide full flow in a pipeline. Thus it is used either in the fully closed or fully open positions. A gate valve consists of a valve body, seat and disc, a spindle, gland, and a wheel for operating the valve.

Q What Is The Material Available For GATE Valve NPT/BSPT Threaded?
A.

SS304, SS316, WCB
